Lay Eucharistic Ministers (LEM): Ministers who serve as chalice bearers at the Altar during worship. For more information, contact the church office (651) 228-0930

Acolytes: Youth who begin their Christian commitment by serving as torchbearers, flag bearers, crucifers and servers, and assisting at the altar during worship. For more information or if you want your child/children to join the acolytes, please contact the church office.

The Ushers/Greeters are church ambassadors at the entrance of the church showing God’s love as they welcome parishioners and visitors to worship.  They help seat the congregation, pass out bulletins, give them visitors welcome cards, take up the collection, and assist the gift bearers.  At Communion time they direct the flow of the congregants to the altar.  They check the attendance and recipients of communion during worship and pass the attendance sheet over to be registered in the church service register.  At the end of service, the Ushers/Greeters check all the pews, collect used/unused bulletins for disposal, and replace hymnals/prayer books in the right place.  They also distribute membership or baptism forms to any newcomers who might request them. They have the unique assignment of assisting and serving all those in attendance at each service so that the liturgy may be celebrated without distraction or interruption.

Lectors or Lay Readers read the lessons from the Bible during worship services. For more information, contact the church office.

Altar Guild: Cares and prepares the sanctuary for the glory of God, secures beautiful flowers for the altar, cares for the linens and vessels use during worship, and cares for the priest’s vestments.
